SERVICE INFORMATION
Memorial Service
What is a Memorial Service?
A memorial service is a ceremony to honor and celebrate the life of a loved one. Unlike a traditional funeral service, the memorial service does not include a casket. Instead, an urn with cremated remains would mostly be present for the service. Also, during the service, most families provide a large portrait of their loved one with additional flowers to honor the loved one.
A memorial can be held at any location, such as the funeral home chapel, local church, or venue of the family's choice. There is no particular time frame that the memorial service has to take place. Please know that the service can take place before or after the cremation is complete.
At High Point, we assist with making the service as memorialized as possible. When planning the memorial service, it's important to provide all the interests, personality, and photographs. It's one of the best ways to personalize the memorial service.
