Zachary Lane
Gossett
Mar 30, 1990 — Feb 24, 2024
Our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Zachary Lane Gossett, returned to his Heavenly Father unexpectedly on February 24, 2024 at the age of 33. Zach was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 30th 1990 to David Gossett and Christie Gonzalez (Palmer). As a child, Zach loved riding bikes with his sisters and friends, playing video games, playing basketball, and running track. At this time in life he picked up a love for cooking and being in the kitchen. As a teenager, Zach played guitar and was the vocalist for a local band. He crafted his profession as a chef and worked around various restaurants in and around Memphis. He loved to serve others and put passion and creativity into every dish. Zach loved the nature as both a child and an adult. He would spend hours pruning a bonsai tree or tending a garden. He once worked in the quartz mines in Arkansas. He felt at peace when out in a forest. Zach was never one to shy away from a deep and meaningful conversation. He had many topics he was passionate about that he loved to debate on. He could talk for hours about politics, the ways of the world, and religion. A very unique and interesting perspective of the world followed him in many outlooks on life. Zach had a true love for his family and friends. Many of his friends have been life long. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten, as he will always hold a place within our hearts. Zach is survived by his Mother, Christie Gonzalez, his Father David Gossett, his sisters Brittany Virrueta (Gossett) and Gabrielle Gonzalez, his brothers Nick Gonzalez and Brandon Gossett, his grandmother Carol Scallions, aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews.
