William T. Williams, 91, of Memphis, Tennessee was born February 13, 1928 to the late Roy Lee and Pauline McCreight Williams in Kerrville, Tennessee. He passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020. He was a retired Captain - Memphis Police Department Narcotics Division after 30 years of service and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict in Germany. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy Smith Williams; sister, Alice Lee Caya of Memphis; granddaughter; one great granddaughter; three great grandsons; seven great great grandchildren; two nieces; and a nephew. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Pauline Williams; brother, Robert Joseph Williams; sister, Carolyn Faye Harlan; and grandson, Billy Bridges. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2020 at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
