William Nelson (Jeff) Golden went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2025, just days before his 94th birthday. He was born on March 16, 1931, in Friendship, Tennessee.

He married the love of his life, Joyce, and together they built a life grounded in faith, love, and family until her passing in 2017.

Jeff was a dedicated and hardworking man who retired from Memphis Light, Gas and Water. In his later years, he found great joy in dancing, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends.

He had a deep heart for the Lord and shared his faith with everyone he met. A true prayer warrior, Jeff diligently prayed for his loved ones and was a spiritual pillar in the lives of many.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of love, faith, and strength will live on for generations to come.

In lieu of a funeral service, a Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Jeff on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church at 1880 Fite Rd Memphis, TN 38127. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and celebrating his life, love, and faith.
