Virginia Feathers passed away on October 11, 2017 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, George Feathers. She was a member of Capleville United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She served as choir director at Bethany Parkway United Methodist Church for 35 years. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she loved to sing and inspired many others to sing during her lifetime. She leaves a daughter, Susan Smithmier (Fred); a son, Paul Feathers (Sandra); and three grandchildren, Corey Smithmier, Cassie Smithmier, and Ginny Scott (Jeff). Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 16 at Capleville United Methodist Church with service to follow at 12. Graveside service will follow at Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.
