Obituary

Vincent Joseph Migliaccio, age 80, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 11, surrounded by his loving family.

Vincent was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Vince and Betty Migliaccio. A lifelong Memphian, he was known for his strong work ethic, his deep faith, and his devotion to family and friends.

Vincent's lifelong connection to A-1 Grocery began when he was just 14 years old, working as a delivery boy at the store owned by his grandfather. Through years of dedication and hard work, he eventually purchased the store and proudly operated A-1 Grocery for many years before retiring. During that time, he became a familiar and trusted presence in the community, forming friendships with generations of customers.

Vincent loved going to church and was known for making rosaries by hand, which he generously gave to everyone. His faith was an important part of his life, and he found great joy in sharing it with others. In his free time, Vincent enjoyed playing pool and fishing, especially when he could spend that time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Betty Migliaccio. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Winburn Migliaccio; his daughters, Susan Ballard (Alan) and DeeDee Redding (Jason); his four cherished grandchildren, Lauren Ballard, Natalee Ballard, Caroline Redding, and Hayden Redding; his sister Ann Barclay, and his two brothers Jimmy and Tommy Migliaccio.

Vincent will be remembered for his kindness, his faith, his dedication to his work, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
