On Saturday June 15th, Victoria Ellen Upton Smith, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, & aunt, passed away at the age of 76. Victoria was born in Wilson, Arkansas on September 23, 1942 to Maury and Katherine Upton.

Victoria leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Joseph E. Smith, her two sons Kenneth "Steve" and Russell (Jenny), her daughter Shari (Grishielda), her brother Maury "Buddy" Upton Jr., her three grandchildren, Kenneth Jr, Amanda, and Matthew, and 4 great grandchildren. She was very proud of her family and loved them all very much.

Victoria had a passion for the outdoors. She loved riding horses, fishing, and just being in nature. She even joined her husband on many Civil War rendezvous and historic reenactments. She loved to draw, paint, and do word puzzles and was a huge chocaholic.

She was very involved in her church, Leawood Baptist and was a very passionate and loving Christian, She loved everyone she ever met and they loved her.

With deep appreciation, Victoria's family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Ratliff, his staff, and especially the staff and volunteers at Methodist Hospice Residence for being a part of her courageous fight.

High Point Funeral Home will handle Victoria's cremation. There will not be a service.
