Terry passed away peacefully at age 64 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family, who are left to cherish their very fond memories. Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon L. and Lucille (Cutliph) Place and her brother Dr. James G. Place II. Terry is survived by her sister, Charmian Place-Cooper and her partner of 10 years, Perry Massenburg.  She will lie in rest next to her parents at Memphis Memorial Park Cemetery, and be interred on Friday, May 21st, at noon.
