Terrell Allen Cox, 84,  also known as Terry, Dad, Papaw, Uncle Terry, went to be with his Savior in Heaven at 6:21 p.m. on November 5, 2023 at the  University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born September 21, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Venita Wagster (Scott) and Henry Cox.  He graduated from Messick High School (1957) where he met his future wife Charlotte N. Mitchell (married July 15, 1957). They began their married life in Panama City, Florida with him performing his Air Force duties.  Later, Terry's work took them to New Mexico, California and Colorado. During the time away they had two children, Trent and Marisa. The family finally settled back in Memphis in 1978 near Charlotte's extended family. He eventually spent his last years near Marisa in the Ozark Mountains in AR., residing at 564 Dave Creek Pkwy, Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. He retired from FedEx, where he was employed most of his time as a telecommunications analyst. He has remained a member of First Baptist Church of Fisherville.  He was an amature radio operator where he connected with people all over the world and exchanged QX cards, dabbled with model railroad where his particular interest was the Union Pacific lines, and loved carpentry work. He loved to watch his grandchildren, Felicity and Farrah grow up and following their respective sports. The last couple of years he enjoyed planting veggies from seedlings and selling them locally. Terry is survived by his son Trent Cox (Lisa); daughter Marisa Cox Bost (Tracy) and granddaughters Felicity, Farrah and Roza. Terry was loved and will be greatly missed by us all.
