"It is with great sadness that the family of Tanya Sue Gosa-Mathews announces her passing on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Tanya was 59 at the time of her passing. She was born November 7, 1958, in Tonopah, Nevada. Tanya will be forever remembered for her endless desire to help others in need. She enjoyed sewing and made beautiful quilts which she donated to babies suffering from AIDS and drug addiction. Utilizing her incredible talent and artistry, she sewed amazing Halloween costumes and outfits for her children. Tanya loved to cook for her family and guests and also decorated beautiful cakes. She had an Associate's Degree in Engineering, worked as an EMT, and always found time to help others; even if it meant giving the coat off her back. Tanya's greatest love in life was singing. She would often meet with others from her church to practice for Sunday service. She is survived by daughter Jennifer M.
