Susanne Tugwell Mackenzie, 69, died at home after a short illness on March 13, 2018.

She was born Nov., 14, 1948, in Glen Ridge, NJ.She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick Allan and Elizabeth Sweeny Mackenzie. Sue graduated from White Station High School in 1966 and attended Union University and Memphis State University.She was a long-term member of St. John's Episcopal Church.Sue began her working career at Union Planters Bank before moving to human resources at St. Francis Hospital and then to customer support at Kroger.A kind and generous person, Sue enjoyed working with others and being with her family.

She is survived by her sister Nancy Mackenzie McGuire (Kelly); her niece Kristen Ireland (Jeremy) grand-nieces Lillian Grace and Anne Elizabeth; and, her nephews Michael McGuire (Lydia) and Britton McGuire.

Visitation will be Monday, March 19 at 1:00 p.m., with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m., at St. John's Episcopal Church 3245 Central Ave.
