Sheila Ann Forrest, 77 of Germantown, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

She was born December 12, 1940, to the late John C. Stephenson and Esther Isabella Hughey Stephenson.

Left to cherish Sheila's memories are her daughter, Lisa Stephenson of Collierville, TN; son Jere Joe (Jamie) Forrest of Olive Branch, MS; sister Sherry (Ron) Wilkes and niece Jennifer (Chris) Rogers of Hernando, MS; two granddaughters, Brittany (Rich) Blasbichler of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Skye Stephenson of Collierville, TN; two grandsons, Michael Brandon Whitley and Hayden Forrest of Collierville, TN; and two great-granddaughters, Isabellaand Gabriella Blasbichler of Santa Rosa Beach, FL.

Heartfelt thanks to the amazing nursing staff at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House who provided so much more than nursing care for Sheila, but also provided a peaceful and compassionate environment during her transition from this life to the next.

Sheila loved spending time with her family and was a source of strength for many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband and friend of more than 40 years, Billy Joe Forrest and her son Stephen Daly Sullivan.

According to her wishes, a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in Sheila's honor.
