Russell Anthony Hathcock, 63, of Collierville, Tennessee was born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 13, 1954 to the late Gerald Paul "Billy" Hathcock and Paula Moderia Joyner "Winkie" Hathcock of Covington, Tennessee. He passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018, wife Tracey Gail Hathcock, at his side. Russell and Tracey were baptized together on January 27, 2018. When he was carried into baptismal he said, "There ain't no minnows in here!" He also told Tracey when she gets to heaven to look for him "on 19th Street... The house at the end with a big lake behind it."
In addition to his wife and mother, Russell leaves behind his son, Steven (Leslie) Hathcock of Somerville, Tennessee; his brother, Randall Eugene "Randy" Hathcock; his stepchildren, Rachel (Jason) Lawrence of Dickson, Tennessee and Kevin Dickerson of Collierville, Tennessee; and two cherished grandchildren, Shelby Laine Hathcock and Weston Layne Dunn.
Russell loved golf, hunting, fishing and boating with friends and family. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was also an excellent grill master and loved feeding crowds.
