Robert William Stafford
Cooler than the flip side of a pillow! Robert or Bob as many knew him was born September 22 1949 in Baltimore Maryland to Jack Pierce Stafford and Anna Mae (McGuire) Stafford. 1 of 5 children he had 2 sisters and 2 brothers Earr, Jackie, Tommy and Cindy. Growing up he had a fascination with hot rods. TCB or Taxi Cab Bob as he would call hisself. After graduating high school he was drafted to the US Army where he served 6 years.
After the Army he started working on industrial boilers. In 1979 he called an phone operator in Memphis TN named Bobbi. He liked her voice so much he talked her into flying to Baltimore to meet him. She did and the rest was history. After a few months of dating Bob moved to Memphis. On December 12, 1979 they would get married and stayed married 43 years. Bob opened his own boiler service company, Mechanical Equipment Service and Jungle Cat Enterprises which he ran faithfully til the day he passed. Bob and Bobbi had 3 children Casey, Kelly (Amanda) and Courtney (Tommy). He loved being a father but then came grandkids. Josh, Julianna, Cora, Emri, Max, Rosaleigh and Stilez. Bob Bob was created! Being "BobBob" gave him so much joy.
Bob was preceded in death by his son Kelly in 2021. They were best friends and did so much together. Losing him placed a huge whole in his heart. However that heart is full again and they are back together. A private memorial for him will be announced at a later date.
