Rita Jeanette Gaynor passed away peacefully one day after her 94th birthday. She was a strong and loving sister, aunt, and friend who touched all who knew her with her generous spirit. Jeanette worked for International Harvester/Navistar for more than 40 years.

Jeanette was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Carrie (Pratt) Gaynor; her sisters Katherine Thomlinson, Margaret Martin, Mary Snee, and Carolyn Clack; her brother Anthony "Tony" Gaynor; and her dear and special friend of more than 50 years, Charlotte Lee, whose entire extended family became a cherished part of Jeanette's life.

She is survived by seven nieces and five nephews, and by her devoted friend and caregiver, Brenda Tot Jones.

Graveside services will be held April 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery.

Jeanette was especially fond of children and remained committed to giving back throughout her life. She was a supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and St. Vincent de Paul. Those wishing to honor Jeanette's memory may do so through a donation to either charity.
