Raz Lee McElhaney, age 94, of Cordova, TN passed away March 17, 2022. He is survived by daughters Nannette Northcutt and Pamela McElhaney, son Dean McElhaney, and wife Diana McElhaney. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Raz was preceded in death by daughters Vickie Chipman (Chip) and Tina Miotti, grandson Dalton Smith, and Margie McElhaneywife of 60 years. Siblings: Will McElhaney, Ima Jean Huckaby, Dorsey Sanders, and Johnny Potts. Raz was born in Wilson, AR, and grew up in Memphis, TN. He
lived in Cordova, TN where he enjoyed leather working, fishing, and camping. Raz lived life to the fullest, and he loved riding motorcycles and cooking for his family, especially the holidays and birthdays. He would do anything for his family, friends, and church. He made everyone who knew him laugh and cry at all the stories he shared. Our family is grateful to know that he passed away peacefully at home and is now gone on to be with the Lord. Services will be held at High Point Funeral Home located at 3788 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN, March 22, 2022. Visitation 12:00 – 1:00, and funeral service from 1:00 – 2:00. Burial to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens at 6444 Raleigh La Grange, Memphis, TN, all are welcome.
