Norma Lee Skillen, 78, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 20 at 8:25 a.m. at her home in Olive Branch, Mississippi. She was born on January 26, 1940 in Memphis, Tennessee to Norman and Ruth Banks. She attended Southside High School and Memphis State University. Norma retired from Kraft Foods as a Senior Purchasing Agent after many years. She enjoyed traveling, friends, loved her family and the University of Memphis Tigers Basketball. She is survived by her son, Jerry; daughter in law, Kim; grandsons, Joshua and Austin; and sister in law, Janey Banks. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Ruth Banks; brother, Ronald Banks; and son, Glenn Skillen. Visitation will be 11:15 a.m. Saturday, February 24 until service begins at 1 p.m. at East Win Christian Church, 4350 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN, 38125 and burial to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange Road, Memphis, TN, 38134.
