Mildred "Sue" Browning Gafford went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by Jimmy Brooks Gafford (her husband of 66 years), her sons Troy Gafford and Michael Gafford, and two granddaughters Jennifer and Jessica as well as her parents Mr. Earnest O'dell Browning and Mrs. Sarah "Sallie' Hearn Browning. Sue had been an active member of Longview Heights Baptist Church since 1998. She is survived by her son Jimmy Gafford, her daughters Diane Loftis, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Longview Heights Baptist Church of Olive Branch, MS starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 28 with funeral service following at 12 noon. Interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens later that afternoon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be sent to the Four Friends Ministry of Longview Heights Baptist Church located at 4501 Goodman Road in Olive Branch, MS, 38654.
