Meek "Lee" Yancey, Jr., 69, of Collierville, Tennessee, was born in Memphis, Tennessee on August 6, 1949 to Meek Lee Yancey, Sr. and HermieRuth Yancey. He passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. Mr. Yancey graduated from Southside High School and received a full scholarship to attend Ole Miss. He was the Director of Administration at "The Med" prior to his retiring. Mr. Yancey was also a veteran and a member of the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Joyce, Olene and Coleen. Mr. Yancey is survived by his son, Michael Yancey; sisters, Brenda Reynolds, Barbara Rook and two granddaughters, Jordan and Blakely Yancey. Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at High Point Funeral Home Chapel.
