Margaret Dale Bryan, 85, of Eads, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on 3/21/2022 at Bells Nursing Home in Bells, Tennessee after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Dale was born on 8/18/1936 to Mable Harris Dunphy Briggs and Walter Hugh Dunphy. She spent most of her childhood years in Fayette County and after graduation from Fayette County High School in 1954, she married Alva Earl Bryan of Eads, Tennessee. She studied at Memphis State University and went to work at the VA Hospital in Memphis.

Dale and Earl had 2 children, Michael Earl Bryan (deceased) and William David Bryan (Jackson, TN). After retiring from the VA, Dale continued to work at home supporting Earl on the farm. She remained active at Bethany Christian Church and loved her church family who were very supportive during her later years.

Dale was preceded in death by her husband Earl and son Michael. She is survived by son David (Kathleen), sister Sarah Briggs Bills, brother William (Buddy) Briggs, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Old Bethany Cemetery, 421 Bethany Church Road, Eads, TN on Thursday March 24, 2022 at 11:00 am. Family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
