In Loving Memory
January 12, 1948 – August 3, 2026

Marcia Lynne Talley was born in Memphis, Tennessee, to Willadean and Arthur Deviney. As a child, she formed a special bond with her maternal grandmother, Lura, who was the first to instill in Marcia the devotion to Christ that would guide her throughout her life.

Marcia formed friendships in childhood that endured throughout her life—a true testament to her loving nature and to the dear friends with whom God blessed her.

Marcia married Don Talley on Christmas Eve in 1975. For fifty years, they lived, loved, and worked together, building a life and family alongside one another.

She was an avid reader, had an amazingly green thumb, and loved nothing more than having her family gathered together in one place.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Don; her brother, Bruce; her daughter, Julie; her sons, Joshua and Andrew; and her four grandchildren, Jack, Lola, Rosalie, and Julian.

A service honoring Marcia's life will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at High Point Funeral Home, 3788 Summer Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38122.
