Mamie Ruth Davidson, 90, went into the arms of Jesus on February 23, 2018. She is in Heaven giving praise to her Heavenly Father. Mrs. Davidson was born on November 10, 1927 in Choctaw, MS to the late Joel and Floy Booth Lawrence. She was a charter member of Woodlawn Terrace Baptist Church and most recent membership was at Faith Bible Church. Mrs. Davidson was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed caring fro her family and gardening. She is survived by her two sons, Philip Davidson, Timothy G. Davidson; her sister, Lillie Jones; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Davison, Mary Suddeth and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Horace Davidson and a grandson, Jeremy Davidson. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 1 until service begins at 12 noon at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium. Interment will be private at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
