On the afternoon of August 16, 2023, Lynda (Morrison) Davenport passed away in Memphis, TN at the age of 74.

Lynda was born in Memphis, Tennessee on June 28, 1949. She was the daughter of Billy Morrison and Sally Hanna Babb.

Lynda attended Immaculate Conception High School and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1967. She retired from the law firm Harkavy Shainberg Kaplan PLC and moved to Century Village in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2016 where she met and maintained many friends.

She enjoyed dancing throughout her life and took great pride and joy in ballroom dancing and performing with her friends at Century Village. She was quite accomplished and competed in ballroom dance competitions.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Richard Davenport, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Amy (Morry) Stonecipher, her grandchildren, Jonathan Stonecipher, Patrick (Chloe) Stonecipher, Hanna Stonecipher Janda, Cassidy Davenport, and Mason Davenport. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Sophie, Emma, Bridges, and Charlotte, her sister Katy (Lorne) Johnson, her nephew Hunter (Brittany) Johnson, her daughter-in-law, Missy Davenport, and several cousins.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on September 1, 2023, at Griffin Chapel 4761 Brunswick Rd, Brunswick, TN 38002. Family will have a private burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery next to the Chapel.
