Larry Lee Ladd, 80, a life long resident of Memphis, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. His parents, Paul Owen Ladd and Irene Catherine Crank Ladd preceded him in death. His brother Ronald Ladd also preceded him in death.

He graduated from Central High School and attended Memphis State University.

Larry leaves his wife of 50 years, Donna Cochran Ladd, his sister Renee Kay Sharp (Ken), niece Megan and her children Corbin and Christina of Chesapeake, VA along with his brother in law, Ralph Cochran (Sandra), daughter Natalie Timbes as well as sister in law Marilyn Patterson (David) of Huntsville, AL and their daughters Monica Beck (Tommy), Michelle Evans (Tom) of Knoxville, TN. He also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.

As a beloved church musician for most of his life Larry shared his talent as an organist and choir director throughout Memphis. He loved the arts, nature, cooking and was an avid reader.

A formal service is not planned. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the donor's choice in honor or Larry.
