Kenneth John Mayo II of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully on March 5th, 2021 at the age of 35 from respiratory complications. He leaves behind his parents Kenneth and Patricia Mayo, sisters Kimberly Hendrick and Leslie O'Rourke, two nephews, cousins and extended family, many dear friends and his beloved dog Hoot.

John found his joy in being with the people he loved. His sense of humor was among the best and he loved to cut up and laugh. He had a heart of gold and to know him was to love him. This world is a better place for his presence passing through it. May his beautiful soul soar high in bluer skies and greener pastures.

A memorial gathering will be held at High Point Funeral Home, 3788 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122 on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of sending flowers the family asks that you do a kind deed in John's honor. Help someone in need, make amends with a old friend, spread into the world the kindness and compassion that John embodied.

Though gone too soon from this world he will never be forgotten.
