Keith Conyers Coffman, 99, died Saturday, March 6, 2021, at his home in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, to Austin and Fay Coffman, on October 11, 1921. Keith was raised in Gates, Tennessee and lived most of his life in Memphis. After graduating from Halls High School, he served in the US Army. Following his service in the Army he worked at Kellogg's for 30 years. He is survived by two sons, David Coffman of Olive Branch, MS, and Lynn Coffman of Memphis; a daughter, Beverly Munns (John) of Honea Path, SC; five grandchildren, Cory Coffman, Kyle Coffman, Matt Rhea, Austin Rhea and Jordan Barton; and four great-grandchildren, Noah Pate, Eli Barton, Serri Barton and Annabelle Rhea. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Coffman; and two brothers, Bob Coffman and Bill Coffman. A graveside service will be held at Gates Cemetery in Gates, Tennessee on Thursday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Aldersgate UMC, 4459 Willow Road, Memphis, TN, 38117.
