Johnnie McKenzie Kelley

June 30,1932 – September 26, 2021

Johnnie M. Kelley, 89, of Collierville, passed away on September 26, 2021, at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House, losing her battle with Alzheimer's. Johnnie was born in Henderson, Tennessee, June 30th, 1932, to John and Aline McKenzie. Johnnie was a loving mother who adored her son, Joe Michael Kelley. Due to Michael's Downs Syndrome, her constant prayer was to care for and survive Michael by a day. Her mission was accomplished. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a beloved friend to many. A treasured sister and aunt to the remaining members of our family. She leaves her sister, Joyce Bumgarner, her niece Bethany Bumgarner-Wilson, her nephew and his wife, Reed and Lisa Bumgarner, all reside in Grand Junction, CO. She leaves her nephew and his wife, Ray and Carolyn Weaver of Collierville, TN. She will be missed by these family members. But she will finally get to be with all her family who have preceded her in death. She is with her loving Husband Joe Kelley, her Father John McKenzie, her Mother Aline McKenzie, and her Son Joe Michael Kelley.

Due to the Covid Virus, there will be a grave side eulogy at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 30th, at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh-Lagrange Road, Memphis, 38134.
