John Gregory (Greg) Williams, age 61, passed away November 27, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. Greg was born December 14, 1962, in Memphis, TN. He lived in Arlington, TN and Memphis, TN most of his life. He graduated from Fayette County High School and received his Bachelor degree from Union University in Jackson, TN.

Greg was preceeded in death by his parents, Elbert Williams Sr. and Earlene Taylor Williams also his brother Terry Williams, as well as his great nephew, Alec Huoni.

Greg is survived by his brothers, Elbert Williams Jr. and Yolanda of San Antonio, TX, Gordon Williams and Jean of Hernando, MS. He leaves nieces, Kim Williams Gonzalez, Vicki Arguello, Donna Gooding, Rebecca Coffman and nephews, Richard Williams and Chris Williams and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Greg also leaves a dear friend who was always there to help him in anyway that he could, Chip Taylor.

Greg was a faithful member of New Church Memphis and was blessed with their love and support.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
