John Terry Latta, Jr. of Memphis, TN was born on July 15, 1947 and passed away on April 3, 2024. John was a veteran of the Vietnam war 1969-1971. He is proceeded in death by his father John Terry Latta, Sr. and his mother Mildred Latta (Kost). He leaves behind his sons Mason Latta, Nic Latta, John Latta and his beloved brother William Latta. John T loved coffee, music, fishing, motor racing, good stories and jokes. He was a legendary master mechanic in the Memphis and surrounding areas with a deep credibility in Toyota. He was an avid fishing enthusiast. John was an inspiration to those who knew him. He lived his life dedicated to his passions and caring for those he loved. He will be fondly missed and remembered by those who knew him. He was a true blue collar hero. John will be laid to rest at the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on April 22, 2024 at 2:00pm.
