John "Johnny" David Parker, Sr., 62, longtime Memphis resident passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was born on June 6, 1955 to Charles E. and Lucille M. Parker, Sr. in Memphis. He was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church and a self employed boat mechanic. Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Parker, Sr. and his brother, Richard M. Parker. He is survived by his three sons, John David Parker, Jr., Josh Brandon Parker, Robert Christopher Chance Parker; mother, Lucille Parker; brother, Charles E. Parker, Jr.; two sisters, Jackie Parker Roberson, Diane Parker Bonicelli; and five grandchildren, Isabella, Austin, Anna, Victoria, and Kimberly. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26 until service begins at 12 p.m. at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
