Jo Ann Malone, age 65, peacefully passed from this life to eternal life on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at her home in Memphis, TN, with family by her side. She was born on August 16, 1960, in Bethesda, Maryland.

Jo Ann was a lifelong Memphian, a 1978 graduate of First Christian Assembly Academy. She had a deep love for her hometown, downtown city living, and adored her Main Street penthouse apartment with a million-dollar Mississippi river view. She never met a stranger and made meeting new people look simple. She brought energy and fun to every occasion but was especially passionate about live music and showing appreciation for band members was her specialty.

She played hard and worked just as hard. Jo Ann excelled in her 20-year career with Kimball Midwest as a Sales Consultant. She loved supporting her customers and was recognized by her employer with awards for sales performance excellence. She also had an eye for style and fashion, a natural skill for recognizing timeless looks and spotting new trends.

Jo Ann dearly loved her family and made holiday traditions a priority. She is preceded in death by her parents Emmet and Dorothy Malone; her brother, Jimmy Malone; her sister, Linda Stepp; and her brother, Jerry Malone.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Bobby Malone; her niece, Cindy Little; her nephew, Christopher Stepp; her great-nephews Cameron Stepp, Connor Stepp, and Nick Little; her great-niece, Keagan Stepp; and her great-great niece Sherry Stepp.

Visitation for Jo Ann Malone will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Highpoint Funeral Home, 3788 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN 38122. The committal service will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
