Jimmy Wayne Starnes, 78, of Millington, TN passed away at home Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 after fighting a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Wayne was born in Gallaway, TN on October 31st, 1941. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Ruby Starnes and sister, Shirley Madigen.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Charlene Starnes, Two brothers, John (Barbara) Starnes, and Larry (Becky) Starnes; five children, Misty (Jim) Pierce of Martin, TN, Brian (Lisa) Starnes of Oakland, TN, Andrea Starnes of Millington, TN, Daniel (Ashley) Starnes of Oakland, TN, and Brad Starnes of Memphis, TN; and two grandchildren, Phillip and Adam Pierce.

Visitation will be held at Catholic Church of the Ascension in Memphis, TN at 10:00 am Monday, August 24, 2020, with full Catholic Mass to follow at 12:00 noon.
