Formerly of Memphis, Jane Olhausen Walker, age 80, passed away January 7, 2023. She was born in Ridgely, TN in January 1943 to Paul and Sue Olhausen. She was married to James Allen Walker on January 14, 1963, who preceded her in death in 2008.

Jane worked for ten years at Walmart. She loved crafts, especially making decorative pillows, scrapbooking, and ceramics. One of her favorite activities was drawing.

As a Christian, her faith in God was the center of her life and she looked forward to the day when she could be in heaven with her savior, Jesus Christ.

Jane is survived by her daughters, Jamie Martin and Jennifer Walker; grandson, Joseph Michael Martin; and her sister, Betty Gorman. In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is preceded in death by their son, Joseph Allen Walker; her parents Paul and Sue Olhausen; and her sister, Doris Marie Pipkins.

We will celebrate her life and homecoming to the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at High Point Funeral Home, 3788 Summer Ave., Memphis, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 12:00pm, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Following the funeral service, burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse Ministries or to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
