James "Jim" Calvin Moore was born to Lowell B. Moore and Mary Dale Alexander Moore in Memphis, TN on October 23rd 1959. James graduated from Central High School in Memphis and went on to pursue a career as an automotive technician. James was an ASE certified master mechanic and motorcycle enthusiast. He retired from owning his own automotive repair shop in 2009. James is survived by his wife Wendy Moore, his son Jake Moore, his daughter Caitlin Moore, and sister Mary Beth Moore Burnett. The family will hold a celebration of life on a to be determined date. In lieu of flowers the Moore family asks that you consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
