Imogene Fowler Trotter was born January 10, 1925 in Newport, TN to Richard Driscall Fowler and Minnie Conway Fowler. She left this earth to her eternal home Friday, December 1, 2017 at the good age of 92. Imogene was one of 8 brothers and sisters, Arden Lucille, Anna Pearl, Kenneth Frank, Mildred Hayden, Trula D., Mary Ruth (Cuddy), Warren G. Imogene moved to Memphis in 1943 and was married to William Taft Trotter "Bill" and they had two sons, James R. Trotter (Patty), Charles G. Trotter (Tina). James had one child, Jackie and Charles had six children, Amy, Melinda, Christy, Emily, Pam and Elisa. Amy and Michelle preceded her in death. Imogene had fourteen grandchildren, Cameron, Kaylan, Madison, Brennan, Jake,Dylan, Luke, Austin, Taylor, Cooper, Coleson, Charlie, Max and Harrison. Imogene was one of a few who earned a designation of CPS (Certified Professional Secretary) when she worked at John T. Fisher Motor Company where she was executive secretary for many years. She loved gardening, taking long walks, and enjoying every minute of being outdoors, but nothing pleased her more than seeing her two sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Imogene will be missed but for those who know Christ we will see her again. Imogene fought hard at the end but now she is at peace and at rest forever. She will forever be loved and missed! Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 6 until service begins at 12:30 p.m. at High Point Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
