Henry E. "Jack" Jackson Jr. was born March 24, 1951 in Memphis, TN to Henry E. Jackson Sr. and Elnora Crenshaw Jackson. He was one of ten children and was described often as a man with a "Big Heart". Henry departed this life, January 24, 2019. Henry was a gifted licensed and ordained Preacher/Pastor. He served as Senior Pastor, Spring Chapel AME Church. Henry was a hard worker, almost a perfectionist, and retired from Brother International. He was preceded in death by one son, Henry "Lil Jack" Jackson III. and brother Calvin. To cherish his memories, Henry leaves seven children: Rita, Stephanie, Treva, Christopher, Kevin (Veretta), Justin, and Crystal; eight siblings, Lombus (Delores), George (Renee), Jean (Leonard), Everett (Jeanette), Charles Etta (Rummie), Markel (Dale), Ellander (Ervin), William (Claudette); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a godson, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 8 until service begins at 11 a.m. at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium in Memphis, Tennessee.
Interment will be in Northridge/Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, Tennessee.
