Franklin Delano Caviness, 80, of Lamar MS, passed away on June 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bessie Dean and William Shepard Caviness; his 4 brothers, Tex, Johnny, Billy, and Randy Caviness; and his sister, Laverne Rush. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Edith Virginia Caviness; his 4 sons, Wayne Caviness, Michael, Anthony, and Terry Hill; his 3 daughters, Amanda Scott (Bobby), Carol Harris (Kelvin), and Dawn Johnson; his 15 grandchildren; his 13 great grandchildren; and his special friend and coffee drinking buddy, Richard Carpenter. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at High Point Funeral Home, 3788 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN, on Saturday, June 17, 2017.
