Frances Juanita Nuna Vaughn (83) - Rossville - born during the Great Depression to Laverne Kee and Evelyn K Sprayberry accepted her last breath in the early hours on February 29th, 2020. Working many of her formative years in the cotton fields, she later married Harry M Vaughn and provided for her family as a line supervisor for the Troxel company in Moscow, TN. Nuna as she is known to her grandkids was never shy about sharing her opinion. She would tell you like it is even when you didnt want to hear it, all while making sure you got something to eat. Nuna was an example of what it meant to be strong-willed, stubborn, and caring all in one. Although lifes hard times befell her three daughters too often she always had a place for them to come and try to pick themselves back up. Nuna at the ripe age of 83 was not just loved by her immediate family, but by all those who knew her. She will be remembered for her candor, cooking, forthright opinion, and beautiful smile.
She was preceded in death by husband Harry M. Vaughn, and two of three daughters, Barbara J. Blaydes, and Frances E. Smith. She is survived by daughter Sheila J. Mask, grandkids Brian K. Tipler (Deborah), Charles S. Smith (Emily), and April M. Mask, and three great-grandkids, Caryanne, Emma, and Nicholas, and pet Maggie.
Memorial Services will be held 3-4 p..m. on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 at High Point Funeral Home, 3788 Summer Ave. Memphis, TN.
