Emma Jean Criswell, born March 18, 1928 died on August 21, 2021. She was a retired assembly line worker from Plough, Inc. She was a meticulous housekeeper and welcomed "company" whenever  they would visit. Her home was spotlessly clean. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Harold Criswell, her parents Elvis Columbus Davis and Mary Flossie Davis, and her brothers and sister Lloyd Davis, Joe Davis, Sula Gipson and Gertrude Durham. She is survived by three children, Alton Van Criswell, Terry Gene Criswell and Mary Jane Carpenter. She had six grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was a member of the Church of God Of Prophecy for 79 years. There will be no visitation due to COVID concerns. Graveside service will be at Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, August 31 at 10 a.m., 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee.
