Mrs. Elnora Mays McPherson, was born August 27, 1921 to the late Willie and Laura Mays in Duck Hill, Mississippi. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member at Macedonia MBC where she served on the Mother's Board until her health failed. She was happily married to the late Doll James McPherson, to this union they had four children. Mrs. Elnora was a longtime neighbor in Eilliston Heights on Dunn Avenue.

She was preceded in her death by her parents; her husband, Doll James McPherson; two sons, Emory and James; one sister, Lula McPherson; two brothers, Jesse and Fells.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Lee Earnest McPherson (Clarice); one daughter, Janice McPherson; a host of grandchildren; and great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
