Elkins Bise Crawford passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 06, 2023, at 88 years old. He was preceded in death by his 3 siblings, Autry, Jeanette and Jimmy and his wife of over 60 years, Martha Craig Crawford. He leaves behind their 3 children Elkins Jr, Craig (Delisa), and Missy (Danny) 5 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. A lifelong Memphian, Elkins was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and worked for the Job Service of Tennessee until his retirement in 2000. He will be remembered as a man who enjoyed all things sports, taking grandkids on hikes, who never passed up a chance to play a board game and always had jolly rancher candies on hand to share. The visitation will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13 at the chapel on the grounds of Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis with the burial immediately following.
