Eleanor McKenzie Hill passed peacefully on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the age of 88. Preceded in death by her husband George Hill Sr. She was born the second child of thirteen to the late Nolan and Rosa McKenzie.
Eleanor united in holy matrimony on April, 1951 to George Hill Sr. A union that lasted 60 years. To this union four children were born, Cora Adams, George Hill, Brenda J. Hill, and Leeann (Tootsie) Brown.
Eleanor enjoyed word search puzzles, arts and crafts, and cooking. She was an exceptionally good cook. In fact Julia Childs, Martha Stewart or any other chef had nothing on her. She also loved to sing. She had an amazing voice.
Eleanor is survived by her four children, Cora Adams, George Hill Jr. (Dorcas), Brenda J. Hill, and Leeann  Brown (Fredrick). Her grandchildren Kenneth Hill, Jamal Uri Hill, Sequoyah Hill and Fredrick Austin Brown ll, four brothers, Harry, Robert, Michael and Darrell McKenzie, two sisters, Sarah Kay and Jerlinda Harris and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2022 at High Point Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery.
