Eldon Earl Autry age 94, beloved father and grandfather passed away March 22, 2022. He was born in Ashland, MS and attended Ashland HS. He was a WWII veteran and served in the US Army. Mr. Autry retired from the Memphis Fire Department after 35 years of service with the rank of Chief. Chief Autry was a life long member of Saint Louis Catholic Church. Chief Autry was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Nell and their son Mark. Chief Autry is survived by his 2 sons Matt Autry ( wife Sabine ), Andy Autry( wife Celeste ) and two grandsons Josh Autry , Bryce Autry and one brother Jimmy Autry. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday March 29, 2022 at St. Louis Catholic Church 203 So. White Station Rd Memphis, TN 38117 901-255-1950 with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial immediately following the Mass at Forest Hill Memorial Park - East 2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, TN 38133.
