Eddie Lee Sharpe, 69, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was born on June 22, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late, William Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Carter Sharpe, Sr. Mr. Sharpe was a retired concrete mason and enjoyed motorcycles and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene Sharpe; mother and father in law, Lincoln and Mildred Jackson; sister in law, Julia Ann Irby; and nephew, Roger Alan Murphy. Mr. Sharpe is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patsy Sharpe; daughter, Anita Coates; son and daughter in law, Stephen and Jamie Lay; sister, Ann Murphy; brother, William "Billy" J. Sharpe, Jr,; four grandchildren, Rebecca Coates, Michael Coates, Emily Lay, Brody Lay; and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 6 until service begins at 12:30 p.m. at High Point Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be immediately following at Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.
