Dzevad "Jake" Visca, known to many as "Gigi", passed away on November 16, 2018, at the age of 58 years.
Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the small town of Zavidovici, Gigi came to the United States at the age of 29 years old.Soon after he met his wife Linda Bruenn Visca while up in a mutual close friend's tree, trimming off limbs.They would be married a short year and a half later and began a wonderful life together.
In 1993 his first son Wyatt was born.Then, in 1998, his second son Jack came into the world.Among his many other titles, Gigi was now a father.He would go on to be their coach, mentor, guide, and most importantly, be their best friend.He would teach them many things, how to kick a soccer ball, the proper way to saw a board, how to catch the best fish.Every lesson he taught always came with a great story.
He is survived by his wife/partner of 27 years, Linda (nee Bruenn), sons Wyatt and Jack, brother Zudjiha, sister Rashida, and many relatives and close friends in America and Bosnia.
A Celebration of Jake's life will be held on Sunday, November 25th from 2-5 PM at 8624 Oak Trail Lane, Cordova, TN 38018.
