Deborah Kay Thurmond Watkins, 65, of Coldwater, Mississippi , was born November 20, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Walter Arch and Sally Kate Thurmond.She went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Mrs. Watkins is survived by her daughter and son in law, Wendy and Roger Farmer; son and daughter in law, Dustin and Shelly Walker; sister and brother in law, Jackie and Mike Thompson; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Lewis Watkins; daughter, Veronica Michelle Malone; sister, Jamie Thurmond Smittle; and step-son, John Watkins, Jr. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 19 until service begins at 11 a.m. at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium.Private interment will follow in Middleburg Cemetery in Bolivar, Tennessee.
