Davy Eugene Thacker was born January 15, 1956 at Hardin County General Hospital in Savannah, Hardin County, Tennessee.Davy was the sixth child in a family of seven children born to Mr. & Mrs. Jessie Wilson Thacker, Sr.Davy left us on April 6, 2019 due to an accidental drowning. Davy was loved deeply by his family and friends and will be missed always. His passing will leave an emptiness in all our hearts that only time, and loving memories can possibly fill. Davy is preceded in death by his mother (Fannie Evelyn Halbert-Thacker), father (Jessie Wilson Thacker, Sr.), a sister (Valerie Evelyn Thacker-Fillers), and a brother (Jesse Wilson Thacker, Jr.).Davy is survived by two daughters - Chassidy Ann Thacker of Louisville, KY. and Lindsey Thacker of Memphis, TN., a grand-daughter - Shayla Richie of Louisville, KY, three brothers - James Samuel of Hammonds, LA., Bernis Dale of Memphis, TN, Victor Nelson of Arlington, TN, a sister - Karline Franks of Amory, MS., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Burial of ashes will be at West Shiloh Baptist Church in Stantonville, TN. Family members and friends will be advised of time and date.
