On Friday, May 1, 2020, Davis Mullins Tims, an adored son, grandson, nephew, brother, uncle, one-of-a-kind dad and friend passed away at the age of 50. Davey was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 7, 1969 to Charles and Priscilla (Mullins) Tims. He was the youngest of four children and brother to Randy, Tracy, and Doug. With a charismatic personality, he excelled in his medical sales career, but his most important job was raising his children: Luke (20), Jake (19), Lauren (17), and Josh (14). He was a devoted daddy to each one of his children and showed them his love in many ways by encouraging their individual interests and pointing them to Jesus.
Davey was blessed to have a wide range of God-given abilities; he was athletic and shared his passion for soccer with his brothers and kids. He loved food from many cultures and enjoyed cooking, rarely following a recipe. Davey inherited natural creativity from his mom. He could draw, loved music, played the guitar, and had a beautiful singing voice.
Above all else, Davey found his identity in Jesus. He loved and trusted the Lord with his life, displaying the glory of God through his generosity toward others.
All of us who love Davey will miss him so much, but look forward to reuniting in heaven one day.
Davey is survived by his parents, Charles and Priscilla (Mullins) Tims, uncle, Buddy Mullins, brother, Randy Tims, sister, Tracy Tims Word (Tom), brother, Doug Tims (Mary), and by his children, Luke Davis Tims, Jacob Ethan Tims, Lauren Paris Tims, and Joshua Jordan Tims. Davey is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and 13 nieces and nephews.
Davey is preceded in death by grandparents, Henry Lee Tims, Betty Sharp Tims, Burnus Adler Mullins, and Douglas Crenshaw Mullins.
