David Howard Downing, 67, of Cordova, TN, passed away on September 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Downing and his father, Robert E. Downing. Mr. Downing leaves his mother, Florence J. Downing: a step daughter, Ruth Anne Hale; sisters and brothers, Donna Fox, Robert Downing, Philip Downing, Phyllis McKenzie, Teresa Cash, Wanda Camp, Michael White, and Adam White. He was retired from Brother International after 25 years of service. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Friday, September 15 at First Assembly of God Church, 8650 Walnut Grove, Cordova, TN with service to follow. Interment will be at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
