Carolyn Marie Priori, 65, of Bartlett TN, died suddenly Wednesday, May 9 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was born in Memphis TN and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1970. Carolyn enjoyed a long career working with her cousins at Coletta's Italian Restaurant on S. Parkway. Her friends and customers will dearly miss her presence where she worked for over 50 years.
Carolyn is survived by her two sisters, Peggy Everson (David) and JoAnn Appling (John), as well as nieces and nephews Brian Brenner (Angela), John Jared (JJ) Brenner, Eric Appling (Joann), Dana Appling, all of the Memphis area, and Lori, Staci, and Jeff Giza of Iowa - as well as all their children and grandchildren, who were the absolute joy of her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Johnnie Priori and her sister Linda Giza of Iowa. Carolyn loved her close and extended family. She as the consummate family member and treasured each moment spent with the children. She gave of herself her entire life and continued giving after her death by donating organs so that others would benefit. We love you always and will miss you every day. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 14 and 9 - 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15 at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. at High Point Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
